Wow! What a page turner. Great read from page one. All of the characters pull you in and make you love or hate them. I can't wait for part two.
First read by this author and I was not disappointed at all!! Its getting pretty deep now.....the betrayal begins.

Seems like Juvie is just what she needed to get over the fidget packet of an ex husband as they called him. I love how he is so attentive to her needs and is always there. Juvie is almost like A lethal weapon when it comes to Nisha and the kids
I liked this story but yeah their should definitely be some changes made to the cover picture and basic summary. I bought this book because I liked the summary and it was reasonablely priced. I personally am not mad about the "hero" being a white male and the idea grew on me that he uses the n word very often through out the story. I just hated that he had practically no major issues and came off as having the perfect life. He pretty much has a job that allows him to appear that he uphold the law which we all know is bs, and he gets all his competition as a drug dealer arrested. He has numerous people in all levels in law enforcement in his pocket and this goes along with he is always protected. If he can never be touched then why should I care that maybe him and his sister "may" have had it hard growing up as the only whites in a black neighborhood. He is successfully lying to his now fiance and he knows that if she found out about his dope boy business they would be done. I do want to read the 2nd installment because maybe it will be more realistic and we actually see him struggle.
